The mission of Dixon Elementary School is to assure that all students will believe in themselves and achieve the skills necessary to become 21st century learners.  High expections will be achieved by providing a nurturing environment that encourages globally competitive thinkers.

Our students can achieve the 21st century goals set forth in this plan in order to become well-rounded, globally competitive, and productive citizens.

Onslow County School's Support Services, school staff, parents and the surrounding community must maintain a partnership.  We share the responsibility of empowering our students with skills necessary to be 21st century learners.

  About The School  

Dixon Elementary School

We are the Dixon Dolphins!  Our principal is Mrs. Peggy Kelley.  Our school is a Title I school, serving 900 students from the areas of Sneads Ferry, Folkstone, Holly Ridge, North Topsail Beach, and Surf City.

 We are a 2012 North Carolina School of Distinction.

 Dixon Elementary is a School of Global Stewardship.
