Mrs.Post is a proud alumnae of Florida International University! Go Panthers!

She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Clarinet Performance.

This is Mrs.Post's very first year teaching and she is so grateful that it is here at Dixon Elementary! Mrs. Post has had many great experiences performing on Clarinet with several honor groups, she started the Miami Drum Major Camp in Miami-Dade County, she has taught privately as a piano and woodwind instructor, and has had a chance to teach with the Creative Music Project in Grand Cayman.

Mrs. Post is originally from Miami, FL living there her whole life until about eight months ago when she moved to Jacksonville, NC. Mrs. Post wants to create an environment in which all students are able to enjoy the music making process and have creative freedom in the form of music. Besides teaching, Mrs. Post is a clarinet player for the Wilmington Symphonic Winds and is a Bandsman for the 440th Army Band, North Carolina National Guard.
